My Story

My name is Max Collier, owner of Collier Custom Carpentry, and I bring ten years of hands-on building experience to every project. I moved to Fort Collins in 2022 from Central New York, building on a background that includes four years in excavation and six years in residential construction. That experience gives me a strong understanding of how structures are built from the ground up. I specialize in framing, finish carpentry, decks, pergolas, and cabinet and door installation, with a focus on quality craftsmanship, durability, and clean, precise results. Outside of work, I share life with my wife Laura, whom I married in 2025, and our two dogs, Ollie and Marvin. When I’m not on a jobsite, I enjoy designing and building custom pieces like tables and chests, bringing the same attention to detail to every piece I make.
